These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the VoltEzy mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) offered by the operator of VoltEzy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
VoltEzy helps you analyze electrical circuits from images you provide, including by generating step-by-step explanations. Outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. The Service is intended for educational and professional assistance; you remain responsible for verifying results and for any decisions or designs based on them.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service. Some features may require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Without limitation, you must not: (a) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Service beyond ordinary use of the app; (b) upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (c) interfere with or overload our systems; (d) use the Service to violate third-party rights or applicable law; or (e) circumvent usage limits, authentication, or payment mechanisms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of images and other materials you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit such content as needed to operate and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as offered, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
6. Subscriptions & payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Fees, renewal terms, and cancellation rights are presented at the point of purchase through Apple App Store, Google Play, or as otherwise disclosed in-app. Those platforms’ terms may also apply to payment processing and refunds.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, or subscription management). Their use is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your requirements or be suitable for safety-critical or regulated use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) twenty-five U.S. dollars (USD), except where prohibited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes & termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or poses risk to the Service or others.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
